We would like to use the Spire.doc component to manage Word documents without using MS Word to perform operations on them, such as mail merge, inserting Word documents, removing headers/footers, printing, converting DOC documents to text, PDF, etc.

Functionality and documentation have been top-tier and we have tried Telerik, SyncFusion, DevExpress, Aspose, IronSoftware, and Mescius. Our client is getting restless as this is taking longer than expected but the amount of issues found across the various vendors have been staggering.
